Market analysis of new technology in the architecture and building industry
Distributing daylight in buildings has always been a major concern for architects. In modern architecture a wide range of techniques and materials are used for letting daylight into buildings. The recently formed Swedish company Parans is now developing a new technology, which uses fiber optics for transporting daylight into buildings. Parans has met a great interest for the product among architects in Gothenburg and now wants to map the interest for the product in the whole of Scandinavia and the EU.
The objective of the thesis is to conduct a market segmentation and to investigate what the whole product should include and how to price it. Familiarity in applicable languages is desirable. The thesis can be initiated as soon as possible.
