Master of Science Thesis: Model-based tool integration with Modelbus

More and more software is being developed model-based. The developer creates high-level models instead of source code. Models are used to automatically create source code. Do you want to learn more about model-based development? We have interesting and challenging tasks for computer science students! Right now, we offer the following:

Modelbus is an infrastructure for model-based development. It manages the different models that are created and keeps them synchronized. Modelbus can be used as a platform for development tool integration. Modelbus uses a service oriented approach using web services.


This is your task:
• get to know the Modelbus technology (www.modelbus.org)
• use Modelbus to integrate another development tool into a tool chain
• create example models for demonstration

Skills needed:
• programming in Java, experience with Eclipse
• ideally experience with implementing web services
• interest in learning about model-based development
• excellent written and spoken English
