Processing solutions for high performance in combination with specific radar algorithms

Your workplace
Electronic Defence Systems, a business area of Saab, is one of the world’s premier suppliers of solutions for surveillance, avionics and systems to detect, locate and protect against threat.
Your role
The task is to evaluate processing solutions and architectures for a specific high resolution algorithm in combination with high requirements on computing performance for a specific radar signal processing application.
In addition to this the solution shall be able to handle more common tasks and still be a cost effective solution.
The expected result is:
• A well documented good understanding of what performance to expect from the high resolution algorithm implemented on different processing architectures.
• Pros, cons, bottlenecks, limitations etc for the analysed architectures.
• A proposal for a solution or solutions that meets the specific requirements fits as a generic processing solution and is easy to integrate into the current and coming processing platforms at Saab.

Your qualifications
You shall be experienced in C programming (preferably ADA too) and have a good knowledge of different computer processing architectures and characteristics.
