RFID for logs

OBS! ANSÖKNINGSTIDEN FÖR DETTA EXJOBB HAR LÖPT UT.
In the EC-project Indisputable key wood RFID transponders were developed. Also Semi-Passive (SP) RFID transponders making possible an increased reading distance and storing of moisture data for logs from harvesting to industry were patented. The SP-transponder is active in moist wood (the RFID battery consists only of electrodes - the electrolyte is the surrounding moist wood).
Especially the RFID-antenna shall be modified for optimal function in a wood log and the reading distance maximized in an electromagnetic hostile environment.
The Diploma Work concern both numerical simulations and laboratory tests.
