Creation of Educational ergonomic online video

A Swedish company with a newly established corporate structure located in Napa Valley, California is in an exiting expansion face to the American market with its ergonomic products. The company is now looking for a graduate student with IT background to help create an online video presentation of its latest ergonomic product Trackbar Emotion. The development of this online video presentation will closely be guided and directed by the owner and developer of the product through weekly meetings. In the same time the graduate student will be given large creative freedom to express its knowledge, know-how and creativity in this project. The web-based material that is produced should be able to run on both Microsoft Office as well as MAC OS platform. As this work is carried out online physical meetings will not be necessary.

Requirements:
A strong background in database driven web development and web based applications using object orientated programming (preferably PHP 5).
Strong skills in developing and structuring websites using CSS and template engines such as smarty (for PHP).
Knowledge of creating CMS (Content Management Systems) and applying open source CMS’s to standard websites.
Experience in database development and optimization is also considered a requirement.
Any experience in asynchronous javascript (AJAX) and PHP frameworks (CakePHP, Symphony etc) is considered a plus
Other preferred skills include XHTML, XML, XSLT.
