Background
Nynas Petroleum AB is an international oil company specialized in Bitumen and Naphthenics Specialty oils. Nynas has production facilities in Europe, North- and South America, depots in more than 40 countries and we sell our products in more than 100 countries.
Description
Nynas has recently made a radical change in our product slate. We therefore see a need to question the infrastructure of our European supply chain. We would like to simulate our major production facility in Sweden together with our main hub in Antwerp in order to get a better view on our tank capacity, safety stock and target stock.
Purpose of the Thesis
-To develop a simulation model containing our production facility in Sweden and our hub in Antwerp.
-To define the optimal tank setup in Antwerp.
-To define safety- and target stock for our European supply chain
Requirements
-Aprox. four years of studies at MSc program preferably with major in Supply Chain Management / Company Logistics at a certified University.
-Preferably knowledge in simulation and in simulation software.
-Thesis is to be performed by 2 persons.
-Work out of Headquarters in Stockholm .
-Start date as soon as possible.
-Fluent in English (writing and speech)
