Internship for drawing up a dissemination plan

What are we looking for?
We would like to find an intern that is newly graduated or in the final year of their course at university. They will preferably be from a university within the Northern Periphery Programme area. The successful candidate must have lived in the programme area and have an understanding of the special conditions and challenges in the programme area. It would be an advantage if the intern has some knowledge or experience of working with European Structural Funds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The person should speak, read and write English fluently, be open-minded, and enjoy meeting and being in contact with new people.
The intern¿s educational background will preferably be within the disciples of marketing, media and other communication / marketing related university courses.

What can we offer?
As well as a rewarding and challenging task in a field that has not yet been developed to its full potential, the Northern Periphery Programme will cover the costs of all housing and lunch expenses for the intern.

Where is the intern going to be based?
The Intern will be based at the Joint Programme Secretariat¿s offices in Copenhagen. Approximately one year ago the JPS moved into new premises at the Nordatlantens Brygge, based in Christianhavn, Copenhagen. The building is a very trendy old warehouse that has been redeveloped into office premises. Within the building you can find organisations such as the Icelandic Embassy, the Faroese Representation and Greenland Home Rule. Almost 1/4 of the building is comprised of exhibition halls and rooms that can be used for cultural events. These events mainly have a connection to the North Atlantic countries of Iceland, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland. To read more about the building look into:

When will the internship occur?
The internship scheme is planned for April 05 ¿ June 05, 3 months.

What are the next steps?
If you are interested in creating a dissemination plan for the Northern Periphery Programme, please do the following:
- Write a personal letter to the Secretariat describing who you are, your background and your career aspirations for the future (1 page).
- List 5 activities that the NPP main project Roadex II should consider when disseminating project results to their stakeholders. Outline your motivation for choosing these activities and rank them (1 page). - Send a CV describing your professional and educational background.

The above material should be sent to the Joint Programme Secretariat by no later than the 20th of February. The JPS will carry out all interviews in weeks 9 and 10.
