Antisence in E. coli
OBS! ANSÖKNINGSTIDEN FÖR DETTA EXJOBB HAR LÖPT UT.
A few untranslated RNAs have shown to have a regulatory function in E. coli. The main mechanism is through anti-sence to the mRNA. We now want to identify more RNAs by scanning the E. coli genome using bioinformatic tools.
The work will entail:
- scripting, preferably in Python
- using bioinformatic tools
- RNA secondary structure prediction
