The Synthesis of a Hyperbranched Sulfonated Polymer and Evaluation of its Efficiency in Fuel Cell Appllications

The purpose of this study is to develop a novel polymeric membrane for use in a PEFC.
Conceptually, the project idea is to attach sulfonic end-groups to hyperbranched polyethers. The sulfonated polymers will be crosslinked into polymer films (membranes) and evaluated for use in a fuel cell fuelled by hydrogen.
