Stockholm Bioinformatics Center is a a national center for bionformatics, located at SCFAB, Stockholm University. At present there are openings for graduate workers and new PhD students in the group headed by Arne Elofsson.
Several research projects within protein fold recognition are available, including:
- Development of new methods to automatically evaluate predicted proteins.
- Creation of a database for predicted protein structures.
- Protein fold recognitions of complete genomes
- Improvement of current consensus based fold recognition methods
