Medical Call Center with Asterisk
OBS! ANSÖKNINGSTIDEN FÖR DETTA EXJOBB HAR LÖPT UT.
Medical Call Center is becoming a necessity in both developed and developing countries in order to provide more accessible and affordable healthcare delivery. ICT4MPOWER project initiated by Karolinska University Hospital and Ericsson AB will put in place Medical Call Center based on Asterisk Open Source PBX System in Uganda.
Specific tasks in the thesis work include:
1. To customize and develop Asterisk CDR (Call Detail Records), as an alternative to CSV (comma-separated values) text files.
2. To investigate and integrate appropriate statistical open source software to Asterisk in order to obtain detailed call records.
3. To develop advanced IVR system (interactive voice response system).
4. To develop Load-Balancing Asterisk System based on the UltraMonkey open source platform (Linux based).
5. To develop high availability solution for Asterisk
Required skills:
Advanced knowledge of Linux
Knowledge in MyQSL, PERL or PHP, C
It is of a merit if applicant has previous experience from Open Source Asterisk (Trixbox, FreePBX etc) and have good understanding of Asterisk SIP, IAX, H323
Other skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks, achieve goal under deadlines.
Excellent team work skills
