Algorithms for voice recognition in noisy environment

• Technology research
To set up the performance criteria for system HW and SW (MIPS, RAM/ROM, speed, etc), dependant on a range of different use cases like type of microphone used, different types of voice, possibilities to recognize single words or phrases, etc.
• Performance evaluation
Identify test methods to evaluate that the requirements are fulfilled in different types of sound environments.
• Implementation of demonstrator
The result of the initial steps will be used to implement a solution for the voice recognition designed in this project and/or to evaluate an existing 3rd party algorithm on any type of demonstrator HW.
Master Thesis Report:
• All documentation including the Master Thesis Report shall be written in English
Cybercom, together with one of their customers, is initially searching for two master students to this study that will be performed mainly at our local site in Huskvarna.
You hold a great interest and a deep level of education within digital signal processing and are prepared to stay in the Jönköping region while performing this Thesis work.
Dependant on how many students that will be active (1 or 2), and dependant on the time estimates coming out from a first study part, the extension of the scope may be adjusted.
