Participatory art practices in theatre, street art, and game design

The goal of this study is to develop an understanding of the similarities and differences in how audiences are incorporated in the design of participatory culture. The project centers around a platform for location-based storytelling, which artists with different backgrounds are using to create various productions with audience participation as its goal. Questions in focus concern how the designers think about participation, who is included or excluded by the production formats, and how the productions are perceived by participants.
