In automatic vehicle crash notifications, even more lives could be saved if the number of passengers, their age, sex and identity could be sent to the SOS central. This thesis work shall therefore investigate the possibilities of using rfid technology to identify all passengers of a vehicle. Questions to be answered are about technology choices, antenna type and placement, sensitivity, misuse, possible positining of passingers etc.
