Linux development of security solutions for embedded processor in mobile phones

You will integrate and benchmark secure algorithms used for phone security, DRM, and e-commerce.

Main task is to benchmark SW vs HW accelerated security solutions on Embedded processors.
- Using Linux on Texas Instruments OMAP2420 application processor
- Run in secure processor mode
- Use and make suggestions of improvments of signing tools
- Benchmark software only solution vs. using hardware acceleration:
- Create a demonstration to visually show the differences.

Project Outcome/Result:
- Well documented code and benchmark results
- Demonstration available to show customer
- Reference code for customer usage
- A Linux setup in the Stockholm office
- A Linux/security foundation to continue to experiment on.

Skills needed:
- Linux OS, for PC and embedded
- C and/or C++
- Embedded Processor
- English
- Security within network systems (is extra attractive)

Education:
- MSc or BSc in EE or Computer Science (or equivalent)
